This is probably the simplest fried chicken recipe I have ever made. =) This is prepared 24 horus ahead before frying. Hope you like it!
Ingredients:
- Chicken Thighs, Legs and Wingettes
- Salt
- Ground Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Garlic Salt
Start by coating the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Make sure everything is evenly coated, boil for 30 minutes, make sure not to overcook.
Drain chicken, you can save the broth for future use but I threw away mine, I can always get the canned one! Hahahaha! Make sure you drain as much liquid as you could, place on a baking pan or any container, the chicken lined up and laid flat on the pan. Let it cool down and season with a little garlic salt.
When the chicken has cooled down, cover with cling wrap, put in fridge, let it stay there for 24 hours, or if you want to cook it the same day, an hour will do.
Deep fry chicken, make sure the oil coats at least half of the chicken. Fry until golden brown and crispy. This is very easy since you wouldn't have to worry about undercooked chicken. =)
