Bromance and Makeup

I have been waiting for this day to come... After I learned from my twin Kikay Lalee about the Cosmetics Company Outlet, I just had to know if there's an outlet near where I live. Then lo and behold, there's one in Tanger Outlet in Foley, AL, 45 minutes away from our place.

I feel so lucky, I recently found a job that I can do from home. I would literally get up in the morning, check Skype for any message from my boss and check Outlook. There are times when I would have a lot of stuff to do, there are times when my work would only take 30 minutes of my day and at times I could just tell my boss that I cannot work because I have plans for that day. Life is sweet! Thank you Lord for my job! Money for me, meaning more make up and shopping! Aaahhh, the simple pleasures of my simple life! Hee hee hee!

Anyway, my brother promised me (after a lot of bugging and begging) that he will take me to Tanger to buy my goodies! We originally scheduled our trip on Wednesday (tomorrow) but when he was able to get home 3PM this afternoon, we dedcided to just do it today. I am soooo looking forward to all the goodies I can get! Yipee!

It wasn't hard for me to find the store, it was near the main entrance. I practically ran towards the store out of excitement. Mind you, I even called a week in advance to check if they sold MAC products and the girl said they do! Okay, I just do not know how much they carry but I really cannot wait! :)
I wasn't able to take a picture of the place, even if I had my camera with me. To my slight (yes slight, I wasn't THAT disappointed) disappointment, there weren't much MAC stuff inside... I even made a list and I didn't find anything in my list... I did end up buying a mineralize skinfinish and mineralize eye shadow duo that has a perfect intense black color! Now I can perfect my black smokey eyes! :)

Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo in Hot Contrast, no longer available online. Original price: $19.00, I got it for around $13.00 with tax. :) Not bad eh? Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium Dark/Natural and Shimmer, this one is also no longer available online and in stores. This is a combo of Mineralize Skinfinish/Natural ($27.00) and Mineralize Skinfinish, I think the one in Soft and Gentle ($27.00) and this one I got for around $19.75 with tax, definitely not bad! :)

After paying for everything and since we still had a lot of time, I asked my brother if we could drop by Dillards at the Eastern Shore Center to see if they have a MAC counter there so I can get the rest of my stash. Unfortunately, they do not have one in that store but (fortunately I may say) they have one in Mobile. Yipee!

I finally bought the 187 brush, a Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Dollymix and Lipglass in Viva Glam VI. Love it! :)

I also got to try some products that I want to buy but didn't get them today because I was on a budget! Hehehehe! Some note worthy products would be:

MAC Paint Pot - works just like my Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer. Really stays in place for a long time! It didn't wash off easily and I was quite impressed. Very promising in terms of preventing my eye shadow to crease! I tried Blackground, whichi is sooo perfect for smokey eyes! (I used this on the picture I made online and I got raves about it!) The shade is perfect and it is very buildable. I also tried Bare Study and same thing, it didn't wash off easily plus the shade really works well with most eye shadow shades! Definitely on my Must Have list! Reserved for next pay day! ;)

MAC Eyeshadow in Carbon - probably the most intense black eye shadow I have ever tried! I obviously have a thing for black smokey eyes! It's just sooooo sexy! Again, in my Must Have list! :)

So happy with my haul! Hehehehe!

I would like to thank my baby brother Miko for driving me! Thanks for enduring the smell of women's perfume and for sticking around amidst the lingerie and other girly stuff while he waited for me to finish up (because he was the one paying for me! hahahaha!). Thanks bro! I love you! :)

And also, for braving the bad weather on our way home. It was raining so hard earlier!
