Review: Avon's Advance Techniques Pillow Curlers

On my previous entry (the one before my tribute to M.J.), I recently received my order from Avon and mentioned that I will write a review once I get to use it.

Avon's Pillow Curlers: pretty curls in 3 easy steps.


Step 1: Place damp or wet hair on flat roller.

Step 2: Roll up and wrap ends of of roller lightly.

Step 3: Unwrap when dry for soft, bouncy curls! For longer-lasting curls leave overnight. For a fun, tousled look roll in different directions.

I used it last night on dry hair. Label says ideal for dry hair but you may also use it on damp hair with heat. Since I am avoiding heat, I opted to using it on dry hair.



I apologize for the photo, I was the one who took it, really bad angle, I just wanted to show the curlers on my hair.

I love the fact that it gives you tight curls. The curlers are made with a bendable wire inside with foam in the middle and covered with cloth. So far, they look durable, the foam didn't go flat after my first use, let's see after further use.

I would say that they're pretty comfortable to sleep with, I just had a hard time at first because I'm really not used to sleeping with stuff in my hair. Hehehehe! I covered the curls with a scarf just to make sure they stay in place while I sleep.

The size of your curls will depend on how much portion you will get per curler, I wanted mine a bit big and bouncy, I ended up using all the curlers. 2 packs for me is just perfect. :)

I love the plastic case, ideal for traveling, the curlers are very easy to store after you use them. :)


All in all, I would say that I am satisfied with my purchase. :) I'd rather curl my hair every night than straighten them every time I go out, it's also less damaging to the hair. :) Gives me natural long lasting looking curls, very easy to use, and comfortable to sleep with.
