As I've mentioned in my previous blog, nahakot ko na ang remainder ng aking gamit from Cerritos. I tried to arrange everything here pero for some reason hindi pa rin tapos. Dami ko pa kase gamit eh.
I finally got IKEA to deliver the things I bought yesterday. I thought hindi ako makakasama sa birthday party ni Tenzin, our friend Lei's baby boy but IKEA was able to deliver it before 3PM so I called Jenny to tell her na she can pick me up if hindi pa siya lagpas ng freeway exit ko and she said na she's not near yet my exit so she said she can pick me up. Goodie! =) Thanks again Jenny! Mwah!
We went to Tujunga, sa house nila Lei and Doug and had a Blue's Clues party! Everyone was asked to wear blue so I wore blue naman. Sarap ng food, tamang tama kase gutom pa ako! Hehehehe! It was fun kase the place we had the party at was not that big but enough to accomodate all of Tenzin's guests. Most of the people there are close relatives and friends and majority kase kilala ko. It's been quite a while since I last saw most of them and they were very happy to see me again and even happier to find out that I have moved somewhere close. =) Sabi nila wala na ako ligtas sa mga imbitasyon nila, syempre wala na no ako naman ang dakilang kaladkarin eh. Hehehehe! BEfore we decided to move the party somewhere else, the kids started playing with the stuff they got from their goodie bags, patay, nakita nila ang water gun... We moved to Lei and Doug's place all wet, walang tita-tita, basta makita ka, basa ka! Hehehe! Fun fun!
We ended the day by continuing the party at their house, opening of gifts was a lot of fun! Tenzin had so much fun playing with his new toys, the grown ups had fun joking around and exchanging stories. It was a fun day for both kids and grown ups. May take home pa kame! Hehehe!
To Lei and Doug, thank you for inviting us and for sharing this wonderful moment with us. Tenzin is such a darling! Nasasanay na sa mga tao and naglalakad na! Grabe, ang bilis nila lumaki...
On a more serious note, I got a text from Paulo (Tessa's boyfriend) this morning about Tessa's (my roommate) grandpa. Lolo Pedro Garcia passed away this morning, joining our Creator in Heaven. Let us please include him in our prayers. Lolo Pedro lived a good life and died at a very ripe age of 94 years old. He is Tessa's Maternal Grandfather.
